Where you can dream again and again

With the mountain at your back and a serene stretch of freshwater in front, Hotel de Charme Laveno is set right on the shores of Lake Maggiore, offering a breathtaking view and a deep connection to the area’s history. Nestled in a beautifully restored building that once housed a renowned ceramics factory, the hotel is now a haven of natural serenity and smart-casual style.

Between simplicity and hospitality, I discovered my calling. That is how I turned my passion into a profession; striving to make every encounter a genuine and pleasant one.
Director
Stefano Besani

Stefano has been a key player of Hotel de Charme Laveno since its inception in 2014. Since then, he has managed it with love and passion, always putting guests in first place.

When the hotel hosted the pioneers of ceramics

The main facade of Hotel de Charme Laveno reflects the building's rich industrial heritage, once home to the Società Ceramica Italiana. Renowned worldwide for producing a wide range of ceramics, from decorative pieces to functional items, it gained such prominence that its dinner plates were exported overseas, gracing the dining tables of grand ocean liners.

With raw materials and skilled craftsmanship as the foundation for a remarkable business venture, a creative collaboration was formed between Guido Andlovitz, artistic director, and Giò Ponti, designer, who transformed the factory into a global icon of industrial artistry and innovation, paving the way for its success.

One with Lake Maggiore Where the design of a hotel tells the essence of a place

In perfect harmony with the history and culture of Lake Maggiore, our hotel’s design reflects the essence of the surrounding landscape. Where nature offers water, parks, and mountains, architecture embodies a love for detail, respect for history, and a pursuit for authenticity. In this context, the signature colour is Laveno blue, while the interior patterns mirror the designs of the ancient ceramics, creating a connection between past and present.
